New Engineering Change Order Functionality

The Engineering Change Order screen has been updated to allow users to change primary, warehouse-specific, or alternate BOMs for greater simplicity. BOM quantity tolerances can also be added to new or existing lines in engineering change orders to affect related BOMs for improved efficiency.

Added Supply Chain Planning Capabilities

Added Supply Chain Planning Capabilities

Supply Chain Planning was enhanced so the plan definition screen can capture user input on whether to run pegging with the plan run. The ability to exclude pegging, which uses many resources, makes the plan run faster. The plan run has also been optimized for increased speed.

New Engineering Change Order Functionality

The release recommendation dashboard has been enhanced to support changing vendors, due dates, and release dates across various recommendations in bulk. It also can manage release recommendations as a background process, allowing users to work on other tasks.

Improved Estimation Capabilities

New Estimation functionality can group different materials, resources, shipping, and other costs to view the costs by sub-assemblies. It provides clear visibility of what materials and resources are considered for which sub-assembly and how much each will contribute to the overall cost.

Sales quotations can now be created in detail according to business needs. They can be by line detail, group summary material and resource level, sub-assembly summary cost, or the overall project cost on one line. And, new functionality allows BOMs and Routings to be created by relating various material components to parent assemblies for greater efficiency.

These are the 2023 R2 OptiProERP highlights, but more enhancements have been included. Please contact one of our experts to learn more about how OptiProERP helps manufacturers and distributors.
